What does service mean to you? Back in the day, before I started my journey, I didn't really get the "Give More Get More." This week we studied Ralph Waldo Emerson's Compensation. What does Karma really mean in your life? What does it really mean when someone says an "eye for an eye, tit for tat, and all the other cliches we hear. I'll tell you want it means, you better watch what you do, pay attention to what you say, and understand how you want to show up in the universe?
This week we were not suppose to share our opinions! I had no idea I was so opinionated!! No, I'm serious. I even attempted to consider my opinions to be beliefs and therefore they were not really opinions. I had extensive conversations with friends and myself about the definition of opinions. I lost the battle and had a rough week with this task. Back in the day when someone gave me a complement I would immediately figure out a way to discount it. If someone complemented me on an outfit I was wearing I would immediately point out how it wasn't that nice, it was cheap, someone gave it to me, etc. One day a friend of mine told me to say "Thank You," and leave it at that. I struggled with it for months, I did not know how to receive! Not a complements, moneys, (always felt like it was not deserved), presents, and it went on and on. I was not grateful and always looking for a way to be undeserving! Sound familiar? However, I was constantly giving to people, not because I expected anything in return, because I wanted to give and keep on giving. However, then the thank you came, or a gift for something I did I felt unworthy of it. Now I look back and think how messed up that was. How could I expect to get and keep anything if I could not actually receive anything! Today, my life has abundance and I keep learning everyday. Once again the Master Key Master Mind Alliance has blown me away with the readings of "The Master Key" and "Ralph Waldo Emerson" Compensation. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I always keep my promises.

I think you'll find you're not alone in having trouble with the "no opinions" challenge! I'm glad that you're open to receiving as well as giving--that's huge! :)

Marianne NiehausWe never know what to expect in life... sometimes the darkest moments become the brightest moments. Like you, I have had a life of ups and downs and at certain points in my life I wasn't sure if I could go get much further down. Archives
