CREATING AN END GAME

I am not sure where I got the term "End Game" but I heard it form a few people and I probably even read it in a book. I just wanted you to know that I did not make this stuff up.

I have read a ton of books on personal development, business, sales, coaching, mentoring, managing and network marketing. I am here to tell you that most of what I learned is was the same thing over and over again. I have created this FREE Coaching series to help YOU or anyone else to move through life and improve their life as fast as they can. Go though the videos as quickly as you want or as slow as you want. I will be adding additional videos as I go. I want to help you to be able to accomplish YOUR dreams and goals. Create an end game of your own.

A lot of time when I talk to people about their dreams and goals they just look at me with a blank look. Most of us are so far removed from even considering or attempting a dream or a goal. We are just worried about our day to day life and thus that is what we get.

I have experienced everything that I am going to share with you. Each time my life continued to improve in areas I never Imagined. I changed from the inside out and when I started this journey I was not sure where it was going to take me. If I had known, I would have done it years ago... better health, better life, a better income, better friends, better relationships, more time and I am following my dreams every day! SWIMMING WITH THE DOLPHINS

If you have read or watched me you know that my moto is that I "swim with the dolphins." In the beginning I had no idea how this would impact my life.

This cracks me up now but when I thought about the idea of getting rid of my negative friends I was afraid that I would not have any friends. So, I was willing to keep those people around because I thought that was the only kind of people that would like me. Seriously, I can not remember who a lot of these people were because the friends I have now would lay their life down for me and I would do the same.

I had an interesting experience a while back and it really defined something for me. I called a few people in my life and asked for help in a way where I was just explaining what I was doing. I called the person, described what I was doing and here are some of the comments I received...

Wow... that sounds cool, how can I help you!
Wow... that sounds cool, good luck with that!

In the past I would have been excited about both of those comments. Someone wished me luck, how nice, however that did not help me one bit. The other person and I talked more and they gave me names of people to contact. Completely different conversation. That other person has been "cut" from the list.

How did I get rid of them you may ask, it was easy, I just quit communicating with them. I removed them out of my life without them even knowing it. "I'm going in a different direction in my life and you don't fit in." It is amazing how they moved on and probably think it was all their idea. (lol)

ARE YOU TOO BUSY TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS?!

YEAH... I THOUGHT THE SAME THING

The thing that gets me about this is that I was able to help someone else build their dream every day and yet I could not find even a minute to follow my dream. What was that? I found that the people I was working for had their dream of being a VP or some title in a company. I was looking for the same thing... moving up the corporate ladder, because one I got there everything would be better. Not so true.

I also found that the people at the top were not as nice as the people at the bottom. I also found that people were not as smart as I thought they would be. My one boss told me... "the only reason you have this job is to make me look good." I did and he got raises and promotions and told me that the company did not support his recommendations to promote me. He left one day and I followed up expecting to find out why his recommendations were not supported by the company only to find out they had never received recommendations from him about a promotion for me. I was immediately promoted into his previous postion. I remember one day when the president of the company stuck his head into my office and said, "Steve (a made up name to protect the rude) did not make this department, you did!" and he walked away. Do you ever feel like what you are doing is making someone else look good?

So, I ask why are we too busy building some one else's dreams and no our own. Perhaps we don't know what our dream is. In that case we need to figure that out. In other cases we are scared and we have never taken a risk in our life. Is YOUR dream worth taking a risk, is your dream worth doing something about it? Are you really too busy or are you filling up your day helping someone else reach their dream because they decided to take the risk, they decided to step out of their comfort zone and do something about it.

Someone once said to me, "You can make money, or make excuses, but you can not do both." Are you making excuses? I was doing it and I didn't ever realize it because everyone around me was doing the same thing and we were all in the same dead end.

I LOVE MY JOB... NO REALLY I DO!

I THOUGHT I LOVED OWNING MY BUSINESS...

I always wanted to own my own business, ever since I was a kid I was an entrepreneur (I sill have to look up how to spell it) and my mom supported me. I would literally do one person plays, charge for the play and run the concession stad during intermission. I should have recognized the trend... I owned the business and wore all the hats.

I eventually got the opportunity to run my own business. First let me say, being a manager is a lot like running your own day care. Can any of you relate? I became burnt out after about 15 years.

You know me I am all about writing down stuff and when the "burn out" came it only seemed natural that I start writing things down. I listed everything that I did in a day and the emotion that went along with it. I about cried when I got done. There were so many things I actually did not LOVE about what I was doing I was shocked. Seriously it took me a few days of writing stuff down and most of what I was doing was making me sick to my stomach. The strange thing was that I had never really noticed it before because I never paid attention.

My message to you is pay attention! Some of you may find out you lover your job more than you thought, but others may find out just the oposite.
